The best time to visit Guam is during the dry season, which runs from December through June. During these months you can expect plenty of sunshine, lower humidity, and calm seas that are ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, and beach days. January and February are particularly popular, offering warm but comfortable temperatures in the mid-80s Fahrenheit with refreshing trade winds. Hotel rates and flights tend to peak around Japanese and Korean holiday periods, especially late December through early January and during Golden Week in late April, so booking ahead is strongly recommended.

The wet season stretches from July through November, bringing heavier rainfall and the possibility of typhoons, with the peak typhoon window falling in August and September. While showers are often short and intense rather than all-day affairs, typhoons can occasionally disrupt travel plans entirely. If you visit during the shoulder months of October and November, you will find fewer crowds, lower prices, and the island draped in especially lush greenery.
