Visa Overview

Japan operates a generous visa-free entry policy for citizens of most developed nations, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU member states, Australia, and many others, for stays of up to 90 days. Japan has implemented an ETIAS-equivalent pre-registration system for some nationalities; check the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for the current requirements for your passport. Getting Around
