The best time to visit the Philippines is during the dry season, which runs from November through April. During these months, temperatures hover between 25°C and 32°C, skies are predominantly clear, and the seas are calm enough for island hopping and diving across most of the archipelago. December and January are particularly festive, with Christmas celebrations lasting well into the new year, making these months a wonderful time to experience Filipino culture at its most exuberant.

If you plan to visit Palawan or the Visayas islands, February through May offers the most reliable beach weather. The wet season from June to October brings typhoons primarily to the north and east, though many parts of the south such as Siargao and Davao remain accessible. Budget travellers often find good value in the shoulder months of November and April, when crowds thin slightly and accommodation prices ease, yet the weather remains favourable across most regions.
